Bhubaneswar, Aug 20 [UDN}:Odisha’s para-fencer Malati Panau delivered an outstanding performance at the Commonwealth Para Fencing Championship held in Lagos, Nigeria, winning two gold medals. She secured the medals in the Women’s Foil and Epee events.
India won a total of six medals in the women’s Foil and Epee categories, across both individual and team events. Malati’s remarkable achievement is a matter of pride not only for Odisha but for the entire country.
