Jeypore, Sept 3 [UDN}: The Koraput district administration has launched a new initiative to further strengthen the quality of education in tribal-dominated areas like Koraput and ensure that simple and accessible education reaches every student.
Following the success achieved in the district’s education sector through the Gyanadeep programme last year, the administration is now focusing on Gyanadeep 2.0. A one-day orientation workshop for headmasters and principals of all high schools in the district was organised at the Koraput Medical College Auditorium.
School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond attended the workshop and encouraged the teachers. He also appreciated Koraput district’s performance in last year’s matriculation examination.
The minister emphasised that the achievement should not remain limited to Class 10. He stressed the need to further strengthen educational standards in tribal-dominated and border areas and improve the overall quality of education for students across the district.
