Dasmantpur,Sept 3 [UDN}:: The selection process for the Panchayat-level Congress Committee office-bearers was completed at Sai Kalyan Mandap in Dasmantpur.
Through a consensus decision, Jag Muduli was elected as the Dasmantpur Panchayat Congress president, Bharat Sagar as vice-president, Sunil Bag as secretary, Mitu Nag as joint secretary, and Suman Patra as treasurer.
The programme was organised under the supervision of Block Congress President Mohan Patra Hial. Laxmipur MLA Pabitra Saunta attended as the chief guest and congratulated the newly elected office-bearers.
The MLA advised the new members to work with discipline, selflessness and a spirit of public service while following the principles and ideology of the Congress party, and to strengthen the party organisation at the grassroots level.
Congress workers and local representatives, including MP representative Rajendra Huika, Zilla Parishad member, Sarpanch Sabai Muduli, Samiti member LE Madhusmita Bag, Ward members Balekeshwari Nayak, Ashok Khosla, Arjun Cheti and Subash Khosla, along with more than a hundred party workers, attended the selection programme.
