Bhubaneswar, Sept 3 [UDN}:Citizens will now be able to access several important government revenue and civil services from the comfort of their homes. In a major step towards making public services more accessible, transparent and citizen-friendly, the Revenue Department has introduced a dedicated mobile application through which people can apply for and obtain services such as marriage registration, caste certificates and income certificates without having to make repeated visits to government offices.
The initiative, launched by the Revenue Minister, is aimed at reducing the need for physical visits to tehsil and other government offices, saving citizens valuable time and effort. Through the new digital platform, applicants will be able to submit their details and required documents online and track the status of their applications from their homes.
The introduction of the app is expected to be particularly beneficial for people living in rural and remote areas, who often have to travel long distances to access government services. By bringing these services onto a single digital platform, the government intends to simplify the application process and improve the delivery of essential certificates and registrations.
