The export was undertaken by the Swayang Sampurna FPO, operating in the Jashipur–Karanjia region, under the APC Programme with support from the Department of Mission Shakti. The achievement reflects Odisha’s growing strength in value-added agriculture and the expanding global reach of women-led collectives.
The consignment is expected to enhance international demand for Odisha’s horticultural produce and further strengthen market linkages for rural women farmers.
Congratulating the FPO members, the Chief Minister described the export as a landmark achievement for Odisha’s agribusiness sector and a testament to the success of women-driven rural development initiatives.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to empowering women, improving rural livelihoods, and promoting Odisha’s agricultural products in global markets through stronger institutional support and international linkages.
